My wife and I were looking for a way to characterize our swinger obsession and finally rested on closet swingers. In order to understand what this means as it relates to us, I will start by telling you how we met and how we came to where we are today. One night while hanging out with the Fellas at a club, I saw this beautiful girl, now my wife. She was 5 feet 7 inches and wearing a little black dress that showed off her body. I was mesmerized from that moment I laid eyes on her. As I mustered up the courage to go over and talk to her, my heart began racing. This girl was perfect for me in every way.

Before we knew it, we were talking and dancing and drinking the night away. Needless to say, we exchanged numbers and before we knew it, we were dating and talking about settling down. It was as if it was love at first sight everything seemed to click right off the bat.

Needless to say that we are now happily married with two kids both conceived after having great sex from visiting our local swinger hangout. It all started a few years back when I approached my wife about making a home movie. At first, she was not on board with the idea but eventually warmed up to it. The idea became dormant for several years until recently when my wife brought it up again. We both started discussing possible ideas for the script and which of our friends we would ask to participate. It was kind of crazy as we thought about swinging couples that were in the lifestyle. As we collaborated and worked on the script together in our spare time, we started to feel really good about the direction our movie was heading. We didn’t want a spur of the moment film, but a well thought out one that we can watch at some of our swinger events. I started to say to myself what guy do you know gets to write star and direct in his own fantasy.

One night my wife and I went out to our local swinger’s hangout to pitch the idea to some of our lifestyle friends. Some were real thrilled with the idea, while others were concerned about something like that falling into the wrong hands. The ones that decided to participate in our fantasy were invited over so we could discuss the film in detail. The very next day, they all gathered at my house for drinks and to go over the script that my wife and I had prepared. The four couples had rave reviews and loved the way it was done even down to the plot. My wife and I selected which couples were going to play what parts and sent everyone home to study their lines.

We got together on weekends to practice our lines until we felt comfortable enough to start shooting. It took the better part of four weeks to get all the scenes done. We had some great shots with girl on girls and 2 guys to 1 girls etc. We even had some shots on the swing. After countless hours on the weekend of editing and producing the video it was finally ready for its initial screening. We invited the couples over to watch while we sip mojitos. They all loved the finished product and gave it rave reviews. I must say it’s been a blast shooting directing and starring in my own movie. I would do it again in a heartbeat. To those out there that’s never tried it don’t know knock it until you have tried it.

Swinging and Jealousy

Terry and Pete, a married couple and in the lifestyle for 4 years, came into contact one night with the green-eyed monster (jealousy). Out at an intimate party one night with a few other lifestyle couples, Terry told Pete that he seemed to be having more fun with Jane than with her all evening and that made her feel uncomfortable. She told him she actually felt jealous.

Pete who is a great listener had asked what it was in particular that made her feel this way. Terry told him that although she didn’t mind him dancing with Jane, she wanted him to save some dances for her. Basically, this was her way of telling him that at some point during the evening, she wanted them to bond. Swinging Lifestyle Pro’s & Con’s

Many have written in asking me the Pro’s and Con’s of the Swinging Lifestyle. Below I will address the Swinginglifestyle Pro’s and Con’s. Just a quick note, you do not need to be married to be swingers.

A: This question has been asked time and time again so I will answer it with some references too. Although the swinging lifestyle is not for everyone there can be several benefits to the lifestyle such as Trust, Communication and Honesty, lets not forget the pleasure as well. When entering the lifestyle it is important to establish rules for you and your spouse. You both need to make sure that you are both in this together.

THE PROS:

New Friends- Believe it or not the lifestyle yields many opportunities to embrace new friendships. For some lifestyle couples they make friends for life.

Lower Divorce Rate – Yes, Swingers are known to have a lower than normal divorce rate. One study revealed divorce rates from swingers were only 5%. Interesting statistics considering the normal divorce rate in America is about 40% now.

Final Thought – The added spice that swinging brings can help with the dullness a relationship or marriage can suffer over the first 2 to 7 years. 12 Marriage counselors were interviewed and none saw a problem with swinging or said not to. (Click here for Press release on Marriage counselors)

THE CONS:

There are only a few cons in the lifestyle and it only has to do with the partners wanting to or not wanting to experience.

Example: Jealousy can play a factor if the couple is not committed or the relationship is rocky. Insecurity, Some men get jealous and insecure. Some couples when swinging, if they are not in a committed relationship may experience one partner enjoying it and the other not enjoying it. Again this goes back to making sure you BOTH want to do this. It is my opinion that Swinging has definitely helped my marriage. My husband and I were Swingers for years before we decided to get married. I feel that swinging helped our relationship bond.
